Brokerage event will be organized as a part of presentation day of Automotive Cluster Slovakia and its members. The brokerage event is the unique, convenient and effective opportunity to bring together potential business partners within the automotive sector as well as other sectors related to the automotive supply chain.



At morning conference conducted by the Automotive Cluster Slovakia participants will see presentations of Cluster members and also gain basic knowledge about current situation in automotive industry in Slovakia.



The B2B sessions will be aimed to get together companies from automotive sector and with supply chain companies. One of the main purposes is to help find foreign business partners to make a future business cooperation and strengthen their position on foreign markets.



The key sectors for this event are automotive, engineering, plastics, textile, and automotive supply chain related industries.



The automotive industry in central Europe is concentrated in southern Poland, the eastern Czech Republic, the western Slovak Republic, and northern Hungary. Most of the production is located within a circle with a diameter of about 400 kilometers. According to the Slovak Ministry of Economy, the automotive production in the Slovak Republic is concentrated in three regional clusters.



The first and the strongest cluster is in the western part of the country, where both VW and the PSA factories are located. The second regional cluster is in the northern and central part of the country, centered on Kia Motors’ plant. The third cluster is in east, with the Kechnec industrial park in Kosice housing several key suppliers, including Gertrag Ford transmissions and Molex. Also another car producer Jaguar Land Rover is coming to Slovakia. This company nowadays building their factory near Nitra.



The event will take place at race track area Slovakiaring in Orechová Potôň. Slovakiaring is a professional and versatile motor sports complex and home of the first national racing circuit. It gives clients the unique opportunity to hone their driving skills, experience the rush of speeding down the track, perfect their techniques and soak up the excitement and freedom the track offers behind the wheel.
